GLUTEN-FREE THAI-STYLE NOODLE SALAD

This Thursday, May 21st, is National Hummus Day and as a Sabra Tastemaker, you knew I’d be writing about hummus this week, right?? I think I’ve mentioned before, I avoided hummus for years because I had convinced myself I wouldn’t like it – made from strange things (to me) like chickpeas and tahini made me super leary. TACO SALAD WITH CRISP BELL PEPPER DRESSING

CREAMY MOROCCAN-STYLE CHICKPEA SOUP WITH WILTED CHARD

And this soup is one of those recipes.

CHOCOLATE, COCONUT AND CARAMEL HUMMUS PASTRIES

When The Professor and I received an invite to become a ‘Sabra Tastemaker’ I wasn’t quite sure what being a Tastemaker entailed. We were already buying Sabra hummus on a regular basis and in fact, The Professor takes a scoop with some fresh veggies to campus for lunch nearly every day of the week. We’ve also made our own hummus at home using canned chickpeas, tahini, a bit of garlic and a squeeze of lemon – but are The Professor and I ‘tastemaker’ material?
