Leanne Heininger’s life took a different trajectory when one of her twin daughter’s was diagnosed with an eating disorder. She became aware of patterns she hadn’t noticed, hadn’t paid attention to – and she didn’t understand she had her own issues with body image. And as a mom, she carried a lot of guilt. But like many hard situations we find ourselves in, that terrible time lead to a new career path for Leanne.

Leanne Heininger is a stay-at-home mom to amazing twin daughters and has been married for almost 25 years. Leanne’s story about her child’s Eating Disorder and Mental Illness and the battle her family has faced was a painful journey, yet through the years and all that it has required there has been great healing and growth.
