Well we’re home; a little jet-lagged but home and sleeping in our own bed after a 24-hour travel day. I have to admit that the last leg of our journey was grueling in a very small puddle-jumper with about 35 teeny-tiny seats of which I’m convinced were made of concrete and wooden spikes; it felt as if I was being tortured for those last hours on a plane. But Italy was so, so worth it!
I had intended to post a few photos of our journey each day but dinner in Italy doesn’t begin until 8pm and by 10:30pm, all I wanted to do was fall into bed in anticipation of the next day’s experiences – I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you ever have the opportunity to attend one of Jovial’s Getaways, don’t hesitate, sign up and go!
Buona Domenica friends!
Oh my goodness! What fun, delicious pictures! It sounds like you had a wonderful time!
What a wonderful trip, and from the looks of it you had a great time. Loved following along this week, and now I yearn for a trip to Italy!
Looks like you had a glorious time! Have no idea what that woman did to deserve to be choked! lol Welcome home, world travelers! xoxo
Jenni ~ Lorenzo is the pasta-maker for Jovial; he and Carla (Jovial founder) have this brother-sister relationship where one torments the other and I think that photo captures the relationship perfectly – hah!
