Well we’re home; a little jet-lagged but home and sleeping in our own bed after a 24-hour travel day. I have to admit that the last leg of our journey was grueling in a very small puddle-jumper with about 35 teeny-tiny seats of which I’m convinced were made of concrete and wooden spikes; it felt as if I was being tortured for those last hours on a plane. But Italy was so, so worth it!

I had intended to post a few photos of our journey each day but dinner in Italy doesn’t begin until 8pm and by 10:30pm, all I wanted to do was fall into bed in anticipation of the next day’s experiences – I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you ever have the opportunity to attend one of Jovial’s Getaways, don’t hesitate, sign up and go!

    • Jenni ~ Lorenzo is the pasta-maker for Jovial; he and Carla (Jovial founder) have this brother-sister relationship where one torments the other and I think that photo captures the relationship perfectly – hah!
