The Professor and I have been traveling for the past three weeks which also included seeing my siblings – we haven’t all been together in one place since my dad’s funeral almost 11 years ago. We met up in Seattle for a couple of days and found ourselves doing all of the ‘touristy’ things one does while visiting Seattle.

Apparently, that includes visiting the ‘Gum Wall’ . . . I had no idea such a thing existed but my brother-in-law knew all about it; in fact, it was all Dave could talk about as soon as he stepped off the plane. When Dave asked a local about it the response was, ‘Chew some gum and stick it on the wall.’ Can we just say, ‘Ewwww!’

Hey Dave, I know you’re pointing proudly at ‘Gum Wall’ but the sign is clearly pointing to ‘Senior Center . . .’

I guess it’s pretty in an abstract kinda way . . .

Anybody have any hand sanitizer???

Thanks for stopping by – happy Sunday!

  1. I can see the art in the gum wall…but I don’t know if I’d want it in my house! It is great you were able to spend time with your family. Nothing better. And in a great city too!

  2. Your travels sound lovely! Glad you got to spend some time with your siblings… and have some time to do touristy things around Seattle (I’m dying to make a trip out that way).

Ok, so yeah this is kind of gross but it’s also really cool! Love the colors and texture! 🙂

  3. You’re so close … come down to OR and see us, Deb! xo
