The Professor and I took a moment during our Holiday errands to visit a new friend at the side of the road. Our temperatures didn’t make it above freezing yesterday, but he didn’t seem to mind.
When we pulled into the driveway, he looked straight at us as if to say, “Hey, Happy Holidays!!” And proceeded to run back and forth across his pen, literally kicking up his heels, showing off. We could tell he really wanted us to get out of the car to come and play . . . instead we snapped a few photos as he stood there patiently, posing . . .
We hope that in the midst of the busyness of the season, you find the time to pause for a moment to look around you . . . you might be in for a surprise!
He wanted company! Probably gets really boring in the paddock. 🙂
I agree. We all need to slow down and look around from time to time. Happy holidays to you and the professor! You two bring happiness to me through this blog and your posts.
I always have to remind myself to pause and just notice the beauty around me. Thanks for an inspiring post.
Wonderful and important reminder. Thank you sweet Debra! (Beautiful pic!!!)
