‘When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.’ ~ Ansel Adams
While The Professor was attending an awards banquet, I was out and about checking things off my ‘to-do’ list; I stopped long enough to grab a quick bite to eat and snapped these with my iPhone . . . I have to admit that I like the spontaneity of capturing unexpected moments with just my phone.
And I find that using the camera phone pushes me to focus my attention a bit more, be fully present, always watching, always looking to see what I might capture . . . something as simple as sitting in a restaurant booth, watching the waitstaff buzz around and the chefs work their magic.
These aren’t jaw-dropping photos but they’re a starting point and I kinda like them; I plan to post more as I continue to hone my craft. They’ve all been edited on my iPhone as well.
Happy Sunday!
I’ve had so much fun just sitting and taking different pictures from one spot to see what I can capture. Great shots!
Love these pictures and I love that quote by Ansel Adams!
