We’re not quite sure, but we think those little light green blobs to the right of your screen are baby tree frogs . . . but don’t let their size fool you; even fully grown, they’re quite small compared to the bull frogs we get in our pond . . . however . . .

These guys make a mighty noise; they’ll move from tree to tree ‘talking’ to one another – get three or four in the act and it is quite loud! Click Here To Listen As they mature, their color changes from green to a brown or bark color, hence the reason we’ve never seen them on a tree!

Here’s the convo I’m imagining them having: ‘Who’s the guy with the camera?’ ‘Don’t know, thought he was a friend of yours . . .’ ‘Nope, never seen him before . . .’ ‘I hate the Paparazzi! Geeze, can’t we have any peace?!’ ‘Hey buddy – the tall dude with the camera . . . I’m watching you . . .’ ‘There’s safety in numbers, right???’

Enjoy your Sunday!

“DUDE, don’t say that too loud. We might look like pistachios to them.”

  5. They are quite cute, but I’m not sure if the noise would do me in over time. It sounds like the jungle! Happy Sunday to you. 🙂
