Musical pairing – Angel by Sarah McLachlan
This is one of those posts I’m both happy and sad about writing; happy, grateful and blessed to be able to help out a friend and yet sad at the circumstances under which this guest post is happening. I met Monet several months ago when she left a comment on one of my posts – something along the lines of how beautiful our photography is, that she loved the recipe, etc. So I headed over here discovered a lovely blog filled with fictional stories as well as stories about her family . . . oh yes, and I also found glorious baked goods . . .
Pretty, expressive brown eyes, long brown hair and a smile that melts your heart; she’s warm, gentle and caring . . . but has suffered enormous loss over the last year including the unexpected death of a nephew and his mother, Monet’s sister, in a terrible car accident about 2 weeks ago. Monet lives in Texas and I live in Indiana and while I would like nothing better than to personally take her a meal, several other friends and I are writing guest-posts so that she can have a bit of time away from her blog to get her bearings again.
Head over to Monet’s site and leave her a comment; then grab the recipe for these Apricot-Walnut Scones – they are wonderful!
