‘Away in a Manger’ . . . the Llamas are back and what struck me about this particular scene may be obvious; every single time we pass our friends at the bottom of the hill, I find myself wanting to break out in song . . . we hope you have wonderful holiday celebrations wherever you are, however you celebrate the season!

  2. I couldn’t agree with you more!! These photos are beautiful… I love all the snow – wish we had some here but alas, while it might rain in Southern California it does not snow at sea level!!

  3. Nothing like a Llama to make you smile… wonder why when they are actually quite an odd looking animal.., but I’m with you, they kinda make you suddenly perk up and have fun 🙂

  5. I love your 52 Sundays posts. They always bring a smile to my face….soooo sweet these lamas. XO

  6. LOL! These pictures are hysterical. I think llamas must be one of the funniest looking animals on earth. That bottom picture is a classic. I think you need to sell it to one of those stock photo websites. I can see advertisers coming up with great slogans to go with that expression.

  7. I love llamas; a friend in Denver has a small llama ranch where they raise them for wool and they are fun to watch; would be tempted except I have a feeling my HOA simply would not approve! I love llamas and giraffes; something very sweet about their faces; thanks for the great images.

  8. So funny! They remind me of the goats we went to see…they are awfully cute. 🙂 Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas! Now, it’s time to gear up for one last holiday. Hope you are taking a break for a few days.

  9. *Waving* to the Llamas.

Every time I hear “llamas” I can’t help but think of Lorenzo and Falcon Crest.

Yeah, I know my brain is weird. It’s a Bing thing.

  10. My favorite children’s book growing up was “Is Your Mama a Llama?” These photographs reminded me how much I loved it! Thank you for sharing this with me. I wish you many blessings in the new year!

  11. These llmamas are hysterical! Wonder if they’re good cuddlers with all that coat?

We are “recovering” from a weekend full of family and food. 🙂 Savoring one more day before we go back to our regular routine tomorrow.

  13. They are so cute!!! I could just kiss ’em!!! 😉

  14. How cute! Llamas are pretty neat animals, not to mention they have the perfect coat for this kind of weather! Hope you had a Merry Christmas!
