Clouds are something I haven’t always noticed; in fact, I don’t really remember looking up for much of my life. Until I married The Professor, I hadn’t noticed birds, telephone wires, a change in the terrain and on most days, the clouds above me.

But the clouds in Vermont were something I noticed every single day . . .

The clouds in Vermont would not be silenced; they demanded to be seen, to be admired and simply required you to pause and behold their shape, color and texture . . .

and the sunsets . . .

oh my the sunsets in Vermont . . .

are really something to experience and enjoy . . .

whatever we were doing, wherever we happened to be in the city, we marveled in every sunset Vermont had to offer . . .

Those pictures are all beautiful. I’m so glad that you learned to look up!

Funny how we think alike:) I have been looking a lot at clouds while here in Serbia, and I photographed sky in all its incarnations.
Your pics are truly beautiful – I feel enveloped in a sense of calm just looking at them.
Thanks for your touching words on my blog! I appreciate your friendship and only wish that we lived closer to become real friends:)

Beautiful photos of clouds and sunsets in Vermont! I noticed the clouds looked a bit strange when Hurricane Irene came through, and I especially marveled at the sunsets every night this summer in Hawaii.

This is such a great reminder to look up and appreciate the beauty that is overhead everyday.

I’m smiling because when my husband was in the Air Force, I quizzed him on weather…clouds were a big part of that. I always look up. And I am a weather channel junkie. Don’t tell.

It is well with my soul.

This post makes me happy. Beautiful pictures!!!

Love these photos Deb. They remind me a lot of the Colorado sky and landscape which it sometimes takes a visitor to remind me of. Just beautiful.

Gorgeous, Debra. I think the older I get, the more I marvel at the world around me.
